PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As Principal of Amestoy STEAM Academy & Multilingual/Multicultural Magnet, it is with enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. We are a growth mindset staff who encourage our students to continually put in their best effort so they can grow and develop into life-long learners. We provide a variety of unique educational opportunities for all of our students. Our staff is looking forward to and challenging themselves to grow their knowledge about how best to help our students learn and grow. We do everything it takes to help each child grow into their individual potential.
Teaching is the most important work in the world, and we are so grateful for this opportunity to educate our youth. Learning is hard and rewarding work! When parents, school staff and students work together, we can help every child achieve success under any circumstance. Our teachers and staff are focused on sustaining a culture of high expectations, student achievement, character development and teamwork. We are committed to providing each student with a rigorous instructional program, that nurtures and challenges all students to become critical thinkers, who utilize effective communication and social skills to thrive in a culturally diverse and technologically advanced society. Our mission is to empower students to become innovative thinkers and creative problem-solvers prepared to thrive, utilizing Future-Ready skills. Our students are at the heart of everything we do at Amestoy. Each child is valued and respected for what they bring to Amestoy STEAM Academy each day.

Como directora de Amestoy STEAM Academy & Multilingual/ Multicultural Magnet, les doy con entusiasmo la bienvenida al año escolar 2023-2024. Somos un personal con mentalidad de crecimiento que alienta a nuestros estudiantes a hacer continuamente su mejor esfuerzo para que puedan crecer y convertirse en aprendices de por vida. Brindamos una variedad de oportunidades educativas únicas para todos nuestros estudiantes. Nuestro personal espera y se reta a sí mismo para aumentar su conocimiento sobre la mejor manera de ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a aprender y crecer. Hacemos todo lo necesario para ayudar a cada niño a desarrollar su potencial individual.
La enseñanza es el trabajo más importante del mundo y estamos muy agradecidos por esta oportunidad de educar a nuestra juventud. ¡Aprender es un trabajo duro y gratificante! Cuando los padres, el personal escolar y los estudiantes trabajan juntos, podemos ayudar a todos los niños a lograr el éxito bajo cualquier circunstancia. Nuestros maestros y personal se enfocan en mantener una cultura de altas expectativas, logros estudiantiles, desarrollo del carácter y trabajo en equipo. Estamos comprometidos a brindar a cada estudiante un programa de instrucción riguroso, que nutre y desafía a todos los estudiantes a convertirse en pensadores críticos, que utilizan habilidades sociales y de comunicación efectivas para prosperar en una sociedad culturalmente diversa y tecnológicamente avanzada. Nuestra misión es capacitar a los estudiantes para que se conviertan en pensadores innovadores y solucionadores de problemas creativos preparados para prosperar, utilizando habilidades Future-Ready. Nuestros estudiantes están en el centro de todo lo que hacemos en Amestoy. Cada niño es valorado y respetado por lo que aporta a Amestoy STEAM Academy cada día.
